Whether you're looking to place your first implant or strengthen your understanding of implant dentistry, this immersive three-day programme is designed to provide a practical, step-by-step pathway to successful implant treatment.

Combining lectures, clinical case discussions, and extensive hands-on training, this course takes participants through the complete implant journey—from diagnosis and treatment planning through to restoration, maintenance, and management of complications.

Over three days, you will develop the knowledge and confidence to:

• Understand when implant treatment is indicated and identify suitable cases
• Assess alternative treatment options and communicate these effectively with patients
• Navigate the complete restorative workflow, from temporisation to final restoration
• Interpret radiographs and CBCT scans for implant planning
• Understand prosthetically driven treatment planning principles
• Gain practical experience with implant placement protocols
• Learn bone grafting and socket preservation techniques
• Recognise and manage common surgical and restorative complications
• Develop long-term maintenance protocols for implant patients

Day One: Foundations of Implant Dentistry

Build a strong foundation in implant treatment planning and restorative principles. Topics include the history and indications of dental implants, treatment alternatives, the role of the general dental practitioner, extraction principles, implant system selection, and introductory prosthetic concepts.

Day Two: Restorative Excellence & Maintenance

Focus on the restorative phase of implant treatment, including temporisation, laboratory communication, try-in and seating of restorations, maintenance protocols, radiographic assessment, hygiene considerations, complication management, and bone grafting concepts including socket and ridge preservation.

Day Three: Surgical Principles & Hands-On Training

Explore advanced treatment planning and surgical workflows, including CBCT assessment, guided versus freehand planning, implant placement protocols, healing concepts, marginal bone preservation, and post-operative management.

The day includes extensive hands-on training covering:

• Implant placement
• Digital and analogue impression techniques
• Socket preservation
• Flap design and suturing
• Additional guided practice sessions

By the end of the course, participants will have a clear understanding of the complete implant workflow and the confidence to incorporate implant dentistry into everyday clinical practice.
